Some other points which may help people with submitting Proposals:
1. CURRENCY: USD$ or CAD$, but final agreements will be in USD$
2. VENUE FLOOR PLANS: We have a layout of the main floor two suites, foyer and meditation garden, which is not to scale; also, we have a floor plan for Star Stay One from a shoot which is to scale.
These are downloadable, respectively, here:

3. SCOPE OF SERVICES: You may address as few or as many of the points comprising the program as you feel capable of executing.
This means, you can propose to execute certain of the points in the RFP either by yourself or in partnership with another company(ies).
For our part, we intend to organize the best "team" by combining proposals to address as many of the ways in which we can exploit our property during the 2010 Winter Olympics and thereabouts.
Of course, until we receive all the submissions, we cannot tell how that will unfold.
4. PRODUCTS PLACEMENT CLIENTS: We think that there would be a range of brands. They do not have to be Olympics sponsors, but if some were, that is fine. The only "Vancouver/B.C./Canada" sourced products would relate to the wines and hors d'ouvres served for the corporate hospitality. Those do not have to be "exclusively" from Vancouver or Canada, but thematically, local content of superb quality is all part of the opportunity with the Olympics.
5. BUDGET: We're not thinking of a budget per se.
Just assuming 1,000 people/day for 20 days over the Olympic period, ignoring pre- and post- activities, at Corporate Hospitality pricing with even rich variable costs means there's lots there.
This is before counting any other sponsorship revenue, broadcast/narrowcast, naming rights, etc. Proponents will be submitting their own, relevant cash flow budgets.
6. Where is Pendrell Suites relative to the venue for opening, closing and medal ceremonies--oh yeah, and hockey!
